This institution requires that full-time, first-time students live on-campus or in institutionally controlled housing.
Grants and scholarships do not have to be repaid. Some students also qualify for student loans to assist in paying this net price; however, student loans do have to be repaid.
Please Note: The estimates above apply to full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduate students for a 2 semester period in 2010-2011 and indicate only grant and scholarship aid. These estimates do not represent a determination of costs and financial aid that you may experience. Educational costs and financial aid funding change from year to year.
Costs paid to Columbus State University include tuition, mandatory fees and, if living in on-campus housing, room and board. Books and supplies may be purchased through Columbus State University bookstores or through other sources. Off-campus housing and other personal expenses will vary based upon student choices.
Not all students receive financial aid. In 2010-2011, 77% of our full-time students enrolling for college for the first time received grant/scholarship aid. Students may also use federal student loans, federal parent loans and work-study to pay educational costs.
You should apply for financial aid by April 15th to assure funds are available for the fall semester payment deadline. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov, to apply for federal financial aid funds. This form is also used to determine HOPE Scholarship eligibility by the school.
